Beginner → Expert Progression Guide
"Build Power → Build Synergy → Build Counters → Build Strategy → Build a Winning Guild."
Learn the basics and set yourself up for success
Don't treat the Guild as optional. A Guild gives you:
An active Guild with average players is often better than a powerful Guild where nobody communicates.
This is one of the most important combat mechanics:
| Energy | Counters |
|---|---|
| ⚡ Beam | → counters Kinetic |
| 💥 Kinetic | → counters Ionic |
| 🔮 Ionic | → counters Beam |
Don't only ask: "Who has the higher Fleet Power?"
Also ask: "What type of damage does the enemy use, and what is my counter?"
A weaker fleet can sometimes win because of a favorable matchup.
At the beginning, it's tempting to upgrade every new Champion. Don't.
Start identifying:
The game places emphasis on Champion + Ship + Flagship synergy, not just individual power.
Champion skills activate from left to right in the formation.
For example:
[Debuff] → [Buffer] → [DPS] can be much better than [DPS] → [Debuff] → [Buffer]
because you want buffs/debuffs to be active before your damage dealer attacks.
Exploration isn't just about moving around. You can obtain:
Don't waste Hyperspace Teleports unnecessarily. Use them strategically.
Start building synergy and making smarter decisions
Don't try to make one fleet that is perfect against everything. Over time, you want to respond to different enemies:
This becomes increasingly important in PvP and Guild warfare.
Power ≠ automatic victory.
What matters is:
Energy Type + Champions + Formation + Skills + Flagship + Components + Matchup
A fleet with lower Power can still win if its composition and matchup are better.
Components increase your Flagship's core attributes such as ATK, DEF, and INT.
There are multiple ways to obtain Components.
Beginner mistake: ignoring Components and putting everything into Champions.
Your Home Port is more important than it may initially seem. Settling in a Planet Port can provide:
Your Home Port can become a strategic decision, not just a location.
If you have a 3-hour Speedup, that doesn't mean you should immediately use it.
Start asking: "Can I use this Speedup during an event and get additional rewards?"
Advanced players treat Speedups as a strategic currency, not simply a shortcut.
Play around events, save resources, and optimize everything
This is where you see the difference between an active player and an efficient player.
Instead of: Upgrade → Upgrade → Upgrade
You start doing: Prepare → Wait for event → Spend → Collect rewards → Continue
Don't automatically spend Speedups, Credits, upgrade materials, Components, Vouchers, or other rare resources.
If you know an event is coming where those resources will matter, save them.
"I can spend this now." vs "Is it worth spending this now?" — Those are two completely different questions.
Start testing exactly how your Champions perform in different positions:
Debuff → Defense Down → DPS can deal much more damage than DPS → Debuff → Defense Down
because the DPS attacks after the target has already been debuffed.
A rare Champion isn't automatically the best for every team.
The correct question is: "What does this Champion do for my team?"
not: "What rarity is this Champion?"
Advanced players build compositions, not collections.
This is where the real strategic side starts. Ports are extremely important for Guilds.
Port Occupation becomes a major part of Guild strength.
Think strategically about every decision
An expert doesn't only think: "Can I win this battle?"
They think: "What do I gain by winning, and what do I lose by using my fleet here?"
Sometimes the best decision is not to attack.
Build a mental matrix:
| Enemy | Counter |
|---|---|
| ⚡ Beam | 🔮 Ionic |
| 💥 Kinetic | ⚡ Beam |
| 🔮 Ionic | 💥 Kinetic |
But an expert goes further:
Enemy Energy Type → Enemy Champions → Enemy Formation → Enemy Flagship → Enemy Components → Choose the counter
Look at the order of their Champions. If the enemy has:
Support → Buffer → DPS
You can try to disrupt or exploit their timing with your own formation.
At an expert level, skill order can be almost as important as raw statistics.
Don't choose: "Flagship A because it has higher Power."
Think about: Flagship + Components + Champions + Energy Type as one complete system.
At endgame, the question is no longer: "How strong am I?"
It becomes: "How strong is our Guild?"
What matters includes:
A player with an extremely powerful fleet can be less valuable than someone who knows how to coordinate 20 players.
Specialize, track, and dominate
Choose a main direction:
Then build your investments around that direction.
Every day, ask yourself:
That's the difference between a player who plays a lot and a player who progresses efficiently.
