FGF Champion Guide 2026
"Don't invest equally in every Champion. 3 highly developed > 10 mediocre."
| Tier | Champions |
|---|---|
| π S+ | Ajita, Zora Domini |
| π₯ S | Eva von Trier, Evan Rogers, Lily |
| π’ A | Jodie BΓ©art, Aliya, Cocoon, Doug Rockwell, Kama Moai, Riian Dessos, Klara |
| π‘ B | Lani Verita, Lucius Pullo, Phade, Hari Seldon |
This is very close to the Mobi.gg tier list from July 2026.
Role: Support / Heal / Buff
Ajita is one of the most valuable Champions for an Ion formation because she combines sustain with formation buffs.
She provides:
Current guides consider her essentially an anchor for Ion formations. Mobi.gg ranks her S+, while AllClash describes her as almost essential for Ion formations when available.
π If you want to play Ion, Ajita is one of the first Champions I would look for.
Role: Main DPS / Burst
Zora is an absolute monster when it comes to damage. She is considered one of the strongest DPS Champions in the game.
The problem: accessibility. Zora is not built like a normal Champion; her copies are purchased from the shop, which makes her much more expensive to max out.
1. Passive β 2. Active β 3. Ultimate
Her Ultimate provides a damage bonus to the formation's ability damage, but your first investments should focus on her primary damage output.
π If you are F2P, don't build your entire account around Zora just because she is S+.
Role: Support / DPS
Eva is very interesting because she isn't just a damage dealer. She provides:
She is S-tier and considered a Champion who opens up strong possibilities for Kinetic formations.
π If you are building Kinetic, Eva is one of the Champions you should be looking for.
Role: Main DPS / Formation Buffer
Evan is one of the most important Champions for Beam. He provides:
A current guide describes him as an anchor for Beam formations.
1. Expert Proficiency β 2. Hunting Time β 3. Desire to Kill
His passive amplifies the entire formation, so you don't want to treat him as just another DPS Champion.
π If you want an endgame Beam formation, Evan is a Champion to prioritize.
Role: DPS / Control
Lily is essentially the limited Ion counterpart to Evan Rogers. She is S-tier and extremely powerful, but she is built through her specific rotation.
Mobi.gg highlights her for her crowd-control capabilities.
π If you have Lily + Ajita, you can start building a very strong Ion formation.
Role: DPS / Generalist
Jodie is probably one of the most important Champions for a normal/F2P player. She is available through regular recruitment, can be built consistently, and is useful in both space combat and ground combat.
π If you are F2P and get her early, invest in her without hesitation.
Role: Support / Tank / Heal
Aliya provides support, healing, survivability, and damage/utility for Beam formations. Available through the Pass.
π If you don't have Evan, Aliya can be extremely valuable for Beam.
Role: Tank / Defense
Especially good for ground combat, tanking, and defensive compositions. In space combat, her value depends on the formation.
π She isn't bad. There are simply better options for certain formations.
Role: Sustain / Heal / Tank
Particularly good for Beam during the early and mid game. One of the Champions capable of keeping the formation alive for longer.
π Very good if you don't yet have the perfect Beam composition.
Role: DPS
Here's a surprise. Kama Moai is an Epic Champion, but AllClash considers him one of the best Epic Champions, and he can remain relevant for a long time in an Ion formation.
π Don't ignore Kama just because he is Epic.
Another Epic Champion who can remain relevant for a long time. Especially useful if you don't have Eva von Trier yet.
Very good as a bridge Champion until you can build your final composition.
Very good for Beam during the early game. If you don't have Aliya, she can remain in your formation for quite a long time. Also useful in ground combat.
π For an F2P player, Klara is much more important than she might initially appear.
Good for the mid game if you aren't investing in Zora. She can perform very well until you obtain a stronger alternative.
Surprisingly useful during the early game. If you aren't building Evan Rogers, he can remain in your Beam lineup for quite a long time.
Good for the early game. The problem is Ajita β once Ajita enters your account, Phade loses his place in the Ion formation.
A solid early-game option for Beam formations. While not the most impactful Champion long-term, Hari can hold his own until you acquire stronger alternatives like Evan Rogers or Aliya.
It means: Good for now, but you will probably replace them later.
Don't make the mistake of thinking: "S+ = I must have them."
In FGF, you should think about:
Champion β Energy Type β Flagship β Formation β Role
Fleet performance depends on Energy Type + Champion Synergy + Flagship Style, not just individual Power.
This is one of the competitive Beam compositions presented by current guides.
Or adapt the formation depending on which Champions you actually have.
This is one of the recommended formations for Ajita.
Then transition toward Jodie β Lily/Ajita once you are able to build them.
Eva opens the buff window, Killer Bee provides DPS + sustain, and Zora takes advantage of the damage window.
The order is important because it allows Zora to receive the setup benefits before unleashing her burst damage.
Available through regular recruitment. Useful everywhere.
Depending on which formation you are building.
Support and sustain for your formation.
If you get an opportunity to obtain Ajita / Evan / Lily / Eva, then seriously consider investing in them.
However, don't destroy your entire economy just to obtain an S-tier Champion.
These are much closer to the high-end formations described by current guides.
DO NOT invest equally in every Champion.
It is better to have 3 highly developed Champions than 10 mediocre Champions.
And especially, don't spend Training Manuals or Power Crystals on a Champion simply because they are Legendary.
Rarity β automatically the best Champion.
Kama Moai and Klara are excellent examples: they are Epic, but they can provide enormous value for an F2P account.
